PIEMME was founded in 1986 as a small, locally focused craft business.
In 1988, the company moved to its current headquarters in Campolongo al Torre (UD), enabling it to expand its reach and operations.
Since then, continuous investment has driven the development and growth of a dynamic, forward-looking company whose key strength is flexibility. This approach enables PIEMME to meet almost any customer requirement, offering comprehensive project management and an end-to-end production process, from order acquisition through to the delivery of the finished, turnkey product.
Like a tailor crafting a made-to-measure suit, we develop fully customised projects, covering the following stages as required:
- engineering design and development;
- procurement of raw materials, sheet metal semi-finished products and standard components;
- tube and profile cutting, as well as tube and profile rolling;
- structural steel fabrication;
- welding using MMA, TIG, MIG/MAG and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW);
- outsourcing of heat treatments, surface treatments and specialised processes;
- machining;
- mechanical assembly;
- final mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic testing.
A total of 25 people work at the company, including management, accounting, sales and project managers, procurement specialists, engineers and mechanical designers in the office, as well as welders, structural steel carpenters/assemblers, CNC operators, paint-workers and NDT personnel.
